MadSci Network: Genetics |
In a recent general biology lab, we studied genotype and phenotype. The lab ended with a fingerprint analysis of all the students. Some fingerprint classifications were expressed very heavily in females and not in males. Are these results a factor of a small sample size, or are fingerprints sex-linked traits? I've spent several hours at the library and on-line in search of this answer to no avail.
