Could you please tell me why, by increasing the concentraion of 
ethanol the heart rate of daphnia slows down.  I could not find 
any information in books about the physiology of daphnia and why 
alcohol acts as a depressant, you're my last resort!  I would 
appreciate a reply as soon possible.
