Message:
I'm told that apes and humans must have had a common ancestor yet apes and
humans have different numbers of chromosomes per cell. If this is true,
where has the new information come from or what happened to the lost
information? Surely a loss or gain of information must have happened
simultaneously in two individuals who then successfully mated?
