Suppose that through genetic diversity some individuals in a species of
insect like light more than do others. These individuals will seek
lighter areas in their environement and breed with other individuals who
also prefer light. Over time wont these become a new species, and not
necessarily with pressures of natural selection? Is this another mechanism
for evolution?
